Chennai : "In order to augment government welfare measures reach all the section of beneficiaries, it has been decided to conduct special grievances day camps in villages and municipal wards, wherein petitions would be received by officials at their doorstep", said Chief minister Edapadi Palanisamy.

Making this announcement in the Tamil Nadu assembly, under 110 rule, CM said that these special meets would be conducted in August and September and welfare measures will be extended to beneficiaries within this stipulated period.
The government would allocate a total Rs.76.25 lakh to implement this special scheme.
Various departments including Revenue, Rural Development, and Urban development would coordinate and conduct the special camps on a single day, as per the order.
Taluk wise functions would be conducted to extend the benefits to the beneficiaries during September end and to act on petitions received. The respective Ministers would take part in these functions to distribute welfare measures including window, old age pension, free house patta, community certificate, legal heir certificate etc.
