People can file their complaint immediately through the App and the mobile number given if they witness political parties providing cash, liquor or any materials for votes. With the complaints received, electoral officials will file a complaint and commence investigation.
In the past one month, 158 cases have been filed on those carrying cash without documents, liquor, guns and silk saris. This also includes cases filed by the public. The District Election Control room receives 30 to 40 complaints every day.
People can complain to the District Election Control room on 0422 - 2201903, 2201904, 2201905, 2201906, 2201907 and 1800 425 4757 which will be accessible round-the-clock.
