City college gets NAAC rating

Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College has got an ‘A’ rating from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

A release from the college said that a NAAC team headed by Pratapsinh Chauhan, vice-chancellor, Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Gujarat, visited the college on March 3, 4 and 5 to study about the facilities available and then it submitted its report. Based on the report, the NAAC had given the rating that was valid for five years. The college offered 23 undergraduate, 14 post graduate, and M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes, the release added.
