Fitness camp for rural kids in Coimbatore

Beethovan's Bodyzeal Fitness Studio will introduce rural children to the basics of fitness and health in a summer camp here to be held from April 15 to May 15. It will be organised at Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore, as part of the Coimbatore Fitness Festival that this company is celebrating April to May this year.

Children from various rural pockets in and around Coimbatore will be brought to the venue of the camp by the company. The camp will include sessions of aerobics, stretch exercise and the kids will also be introduced to importance of eating healthy food. At the camp, those children who are interested in learning a sport will be trained by a professional. We have hired a football coach and a professional to train the children in long jump and athletics," Krish Beethovan, Founder of Beethovan's Bodyzeal Fitness Studio, said.

Last year about 350 children from the rural areas participated in the camp. This year, the company has plans of reaching out to 500 students. Also as a part of its Coimbatore Fitness Festival, this company is offering a three-day session on fitness and health for the public for free. This will give the participants a glimpse of various fitness routines and health tips.

The three-day session will be organised from April 15 to 17 at multiple locations in Coimbatore. Post the session, interested participants can enrol for the month-long health and fitness camp.
