The victim, Savitri, wife of Rajkumar from Arunachal Pradesh, is employed as a sanitation worker in a private hospital. She resides in a rented house in K.K. Nagar, New Sidhapudur.
On Monday night, when Savitri returned from work, she discovered that the lock of her house had been broken. Upon entering, she found that two mobile phones and Rs. 4,300 in cash were missing from the house.
Following the incident, Savitri filed a complaint at the Race Course Police Station on July 23. The police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation into the burglary.
