Erode MP K.E. Prakash embarked on a thanksgiving tour in Dharapuram, visiting 31 villages to express gratitude to voters. The tour included meetings with party officials and public gatherings.
Coimbatore: Erode Member of Parliament K.E. Prakash undertook a thanksgiving tour in the Dharapuram Union area of Tiruppur district on Thursday. The tour began at 8 AM in Varapalayam, where DMK and alliance party officials enthusiastically welcomed the MP.
A gratitude meeting was held under the leadership of Il. Padmanaban, DMK South District Secretary and Chairman of the 4th Ward Committee of the Municipal Corporation. S.V. Senthilkumar, the Dharapuram Panchayat Union Committee President and DMK Union Secretary, presided over the event. Dharapuram MLA and Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare, Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, attended as a special guest.
During her speech, Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj stated that MP K.E. Prakash would respond promptly to the needs of the Dharapuram Assembly constituency and provide various welfare schemes. She assured that he would implement numerous welfare projects for party officials and the general public using the MP's fund.
MP K.E. Prakash, in his address, expressed joy at the enthusiasm shown by the people during his thanksgiving visit, mirroring their support during the election campaign. He highlighted the significant increase in the victory margin, from a narrow win in the previous assembly election to a substantial lead of 35,000 votes in the recent parliamentary election. Prakash urged the supporters to aim for a victory margin of at least 50,000 votes in the upcoming assembly election for the Dharapuram constituency.
The MP extended his gratitude to all assembly constituency members and the general public who voted for him. Following the main event, thanksgiving meetings were held in 31 villages, including Varapalayam, Kuppichipalaiyam, and Veerachimangalam. These gatherings saw large turnouts of the general public and DMK officials. The events were also attended by DMK Union Youth Wing Organizer Sun Balu, former and current DMK executives, and alliance party officials.
