Onam Celebration at Coimbatore Railway Station: Couples in Traditional Attire to Win Gold Coins

Poche Food Express at Coimbatore Railway Station organizes Onam Sadhya event, offering gold coins to couples in traditional attire best depicting the Onam festival.

Coimbatore: The Poche Food Express, a train coach restaurant operated by Bobby Group, is hosting a special Onam Sadhya event at the Coimbatore Railway Station premises. The restaurant, known for serving hot and delicious meals round the clock, has planned an exciting celebration for the Onam festival.

Following their recent successful biryani competition where prizes worth up to one lakh rupees were distributed, Poche Food Express has now announced a unique contest for Onam. Couples arriving in traditional attire that best depicts the Onam festival will have a chance to win gold coins or rings.

The Onam Sadhya event has already attracted 200 pre-bookings, with special Onam meals being served to these participants. Among these 200 attendees, three couples will be selected based on their traditional attire and how well they represent the spirit of Onam. The winners will be awarded either gold coins or gold rings, according to the Poche Food Express management.

This initiative aims to promote cultural awareness and celebrate the rich traditions of Onam while providing an enjoyable experience for customers at the railway station eatery. The event showcases the restaurant's commitment to engaging with the community and creating memorable experiences beyond just serving food.
