IndiGo Announces Schedule Changes for Coimbatore-Abu Dhabi Flight, Introduces Singapore Route

IndiGo Airlines has rescheduled its Coimbatore-Abu Dhabi flight and introduced a new daily non-stop service to Singapore from Coimbatore. Bookings are open until March 2025, with the winter schedule approved by DGCA.

Coimbatore: IndiGo Airlines has announced significant changes to its flight schedules from Coimbatore International Airport, affecting both domestic and international routes. The airline has rescheduled its direct flight service to Abu Dhabi and introduced a new daily non-stop flight to Singapore.

The Coimbatore to Abu Dhabi flight has been rescheduled to depart at 10:40 AM and arrive at 1:40 PM.

However, the return flight from Abu Dhabi to Coimbatore will maintain its original schedule, departing at 1:05 AM and arriving at 6:35 AM.

IndiGo has opened bookings for these flights from November until March 2025. The airline confirmed that these schedules will continue through the winter season, which runs from October 29 to March 30, as approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

In a move to expand its international connectivity from Coimbatore, IndiGo has also announced the launch of daily non-stop flights between Coimbatore and Singapore, commencing from October 27. The outbound flight to Singapore is scheduled to depart from Coimbatore at 8:15 PM, reaching Singapore at 3:15 AM the next day. The return flight will leave Singapore at 4:15 PM and land in Coimbatore at 6:10 AM.

Sources report that the newly announced direct flights from Coimbatore to Singapore are receiving a positive response from passengers. This encouraging feedback suggests a growing demand for international connectivity from the textile city.

IndiGo is not stopping with these additions. The airline is reportedly working on plans to commence international flights to several more destinations from Coimbatore in the near future, further enhancing the city's global air connectivity.

These developments are expected to significantly boost Coimbatore's position as an emerging international air travel hub in South India, catering to both business and leisure travelers from the region.
