The unexpected downpour has affected numerous estate regions including Akkamalai, Karumalai, Usimalai, Vellamalai, Pachamalai, Valparai, Sirukunra, Cinchona, Periya Kallar, Chinna Kallar, Manampalli, Pannimedu, and Kavarkkal.
