TNAU to Conduct Training on Nursery Technologies and Organic Cultivation of Medicinal Plants

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will hold a one-day training on 'Nursery Technologies and Organic Cultivation of Medicinal Plants' on October 18, 2024, for farmers, public, science graduates, and nursery workers in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is set to organize a one-day training program on 'Nursery Technologies and Organic Cultivation of Medicinal Plants' on October 18, 2024 (Friday). The event will be held at the Department of Medicinal and Aromatic Crops, Horticultural College and Research Institute (HC & RI), Coimbatore.

The training is aimed at farmers, the general public, science graduates, and nursery workers. Its primary objective is to disseminate knowledge and provide hands-on skills related to various nursery technologies and organic cultivation of important medicinal plants. This initiative is expected to promote the cultivation of quality medicinal plants using superior planting materials, ultimately leading to the production of high-quality produce and increased income for both beginners and end-users.

The training session will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Participants will be charged a fee of Rs. 1,000 plus 18% GST, totaling Rs. 1,180. This fee includes refreshments and lunch for the day.
