Prior to his current posting, Raghuraman served as the Municipal Commissioner in Arakkonam, Chennai. His appointment to Valparai marks a significant change in the local administrative leadership of the hill station.
The new commissioner was warmly welcomed by the municipal chairperson, deputy chairperson, ward members, and local party leaders. They extended their greetings and best wishes to Raghuram as he assumes his new role in Valparai.
