Monthly Crime Review Meeting Held in Coimbatore

Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police K. Karthikeyan chaired the monthly crime review meeting on October 15, discussing September's crime statistics and recognizing outstanding police officers.


Coimbatore: The monthly crime review meeting was held at the Coimbatore District Police Office on Sunday (Oct. 15) under the leadership of District Superintendent of Police K. Karthikeyan.

The meeting was attended by Additional Superintendents of Police, Deputy Superintendents of Police, Inspectors, officers in charge of police stations, and special division police officers operating in the district police office.



During the meeting, police personnel who effectively arrested and successfully prosecuted individuals involved in crimes such as murder, robbery, theft, and drug trafficking in September were commended. In recognition of their exemplary work, K. Karthikeyan presented certificates of appreciation to 100 police officers, including 13 Inspectors, 29 Sub-Inspectors, 6 Special Sub-Inspectors, 7 Head Constables, 9 Grade I Constables, and 36 Constables.

Speaking on the occasion, Superintendent Karthikeyan advised the police force to take strict action against those involved in drug trafficking and individuals engaging in illegal activities. He emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order in the district.

The meeting served as a platform to review the crime situation in Coimbatore district and strategize on improving law enforcement efforts. The recognition of outstanding officers is expected to boost morale and encourage better performance in the future.
