Election campaigning in Coimbatore just got innovative with BJP's candidate for Coimbatore South holding an interaction with college students on Monday.

The event tagged 'Coffee with Vanathi' had about 25 college students from the city posing her questions ranging from importance of voting to BJP's election promises. "Why should we vote for the BJP?" a student asked. "Will you provide us employment opportunities? was the query of another. What are your views on the current political scenario? Asked one more. In all, the interaction lasted for more than an hour at the Brookefields Mall even as curious visitors stopped by to watch Vanathi handling the questions with poise and answering them with patience.

"It was an excellent interactive session with bright youngsters of Coimbatore," Vanathi said. BJP men said that the students were all first time voters and it was the objective of the party to garner the votes of all the youth who seek change.
