Coimbatore hospital observes Parkinson’s Day

A private hospital in the city celebrated Parkinson's Day with elaborate awareness campaign about the disease.

April 11 is observed all over the world as Parkinson's Day. The day is marked by activities to increase public awareness about the disease, followed by extending support to patients affected by it.

To commemorate the Parkinson's Day, KMCH launched their signature campaign at Brookefields Mall recently. The theme for this signature campaign was 'Together We Inspire and Support." This signature campaign was inaugurated by Mr. Kavidasan of Roots Industries India Ltd..

At the venue about 300 members of the public signed in support of the campaign.

To commemorate the Parkinson's Day, KMCH, Coimbatore also inaugurated the 'Park-In nest' (Society for People with Parkinson's disease), affiliated to the Parkinson's disease and Movement Disorder Society of India.
