Music workshop for children

The Hindu Young World is presenting Rhapsody Summer Music 2016 - an annual innovative music workshop for children. Anil Srinivasan, pianist, and his team, will attend the workshop. Sudha Raja will head the workshop.

The workshop will focus on learning through music - using music as a tool to unlock the mind towards mathematics, science, creativity and languages.

Classes will be conducted by musicians who specialise in this unique approach.

Group songs, activities and craft work add to this unique concept to make it a fruitful and enjoyable event for children. This novel programme will be conducted in two batches – the first from April 18 to 30 and the second from May 2 to 14.

It will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

On completion of the programme children will showcase their two weeks of learning. Selected students will be a part of Voices-in-Harmony Challenge, to be held at Chennai on June 21.

The camp will be conducted at the following four venues: Honey Peps Academy, Civil Aerodrome; Yuva Early School, Periyanaickenpalayam, Little Millennium, Sai Baba Colony, and Kidzee Learning Academy, Sivananda Colony.
