All India Motor Transport Congress to Initiate Lorry strike in Kerala from 11th March 2016.
Kerala government had previously announced that they will create facilities for lorry drivers that will provide water and e-toilet, usage of weigh bridge, and more manpower in the check post for controlling traffic. But, till now these issues remain and the demands have not been met by the concerned authorities.
This strike will affect 18 such checkposts across the Tamilnadu-Kerala border and will be a major hit for business that use lorry transport.
