Coimbatore constables win silver at all India police band competition

Two police constables from Coimbatore city, representing the Tamil Nadu Police, have won silver medals in the Bugle category at the 16th All India Police Band Competition, held in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Grade One Constable X. Alexander, attached to Law and Order, Kattur Police Station, and City Armed Forces Constable M. Velmurugan won the second place in the competition held from February 19 to 23.

City police commissioner, A. Amalraj, at a function today, congratulated the two constables for their victories.
