“The number of sellers has witnessed a growth of 250 per cent year on year and this launch will help thousands of SMEs in the country to experience the ease and convenience of selling on the Amazon.in marketplace in a matter of 60 minutes,” Pillai said.

He said that 65 per cent of the business was happening in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.  Refusing to give details of quantum of business, he however said that the business in the October-December quarter in 2015 surpassed the total business in the whole of 2014.
