Jayendra Saraswathy Vidhyalaa MHSS scored a massive 386/1 in 25 overs (B.Sachin 201*, V.Rahul 155) beating Sri Ramakrishna C.B.S.E School - 30 In 16.2 overs ( a terrifc bowling spell by R.R.Akileshwar 5/13, P.Sakthivel 3/9).
In another exciting match at CIT grounds, Satchidananda Jothi Niketan I.S (Kallar) scored 138/5 in 25 overs (R.S.Prajin 33) to beat R.K.S Kalvinilayam H.S.S who fell 10 runs short, ending up with a scoreline of 128/5 in 25 overs to secure a place in the quarter finals.
At PSG IMS 'C' ground, Mani H.S.S defeated Stanes I.C.S.E School by 128 runs to enter the quarter finals of the tournament. Mani H.S.S scored 246/8 in 25 overs (Mohammed Asfa 52 , Jerin Jose 44 , Kishore 33, Jayanth 4/28) while Stanes I.C.S.E School managed only 118 runs in 20.4 Overs (Selva Venkat 3/15).
Sri Ramakrishna M.H.S.S has also qualified for the quarter finals by defeating P.S.B.B Millennium School by 9 wickets. Batting first, P.S.B.B Millennium School scored 62/5 in 25 overs but lost to Sri Ramakrishna M.H.S.S who breezed to victory by scoring 66/1 in just 9.2 overs.
