Coimbatore: The District Collector of Coimbatore T N Hariharan felicitated the roll ball players who won medals as well as those who participated in the recently-concluded School Games Federation of India's Roll Ball Championship held in Chhattisgarh. Teams from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Punjab participated in the tournament which was held between December 18 to 22.

A total of five girls from Coimbatore represented Tamil Nadu in the Under 14 Roll Ball team which won the bronze medal in the national level competitions. The Boys team secured fourth place in the tournament.
The players who had participated in the SGFI Roll Ball Championship met the District Collector along with the trophy they had won and was lauded by the Collector at the District Collectorate today.
