Coimbatore: 12 students from Nehru Vidyalaya School here in the City have bagged 12 medals including four gold medals in the State level wrestling competition held at Namakkal on May 15.
Coimbatore: 12 students from Nehru Vidyalaya School here in the City have bagged 12 medals including four gold medals in the State level wrestling competition held at Namakkal on May 15.
Around 350 students from various schools across the State took part in the competition organised by Tamil Nadu amateur wrestling Association for boys and girls (12-15 yrs) years.
City wrestlers from Nehru Vidhyalaya secured 4 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronzes, totalling 12 medals in the overall competition.
H. Prathik (Gold), S.Kaushik (Silver), Pranav and Armash Ahmed (bronze) were successful in their respective category in boys section.
While in girls category, S. Sangavika (Gold), B Priyanka (Gold), C Subha Sri (Gold), J Divya (Silver), J P Lola (Silver), S Miruthula (Bronze), M B Prathiksha (Bronze), M Thanushree (Bronze) emerged victorious in their respective weight category.
