Coimbatore Corporation Sets September 30 Deadline for Tax Payments

The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation has announced that September 30 is the last date for paying property tax, vacant land tax, water charges, underground sewerage charges and professional tax for the first half of the 2026–2027 financial year.

According to a press release issued on September 26, the payments must be made by September 30, in accordance with Section 83(4) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1995.

To facilitate tax payments, the Corporation has established special tax collection centres at 15 locations, with three centres in each of its five zones. These centres will function on all days, including Saturdays and Sundays, to enable residents to pay their taxes conveniently.

Residents can make payments through cash, credit and debit cards, cheques, demand drafts and digital payment applications such as Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm. Payments can also be made through the official website, http://tnurbanepay.tn.gov.in⁠.

Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Kranthi Kumar Pati has urged the public to pay their taxes on time and extend their support to the Corporation’s development works.
