Schools reopen 10 months after Tamil Nadu government order: 96 schools have been opened in Pollachi education district.

Coimbatore: Schools reopen 10 months after Tamil Nadu government order. 96 schools have been opened in the Pollachi education district. Since March last year, all schools in Tamil Nadu have been closed due to the coronavirus threat. As the number of cases is currently declining, various relaxations are being given.

With just a few months to go before the Class X and XII public examinations, the government held a public opining hearing on the reopening of schools following which the government has allowed schools to reopen.

96 private and government high schools have been opened in Pollachi Education District today. Students have been eagerly coming to school.

Students were stopped at the school entrance with social distancing and tested for fever with a thermometer.

Students were also allowed into the school classroom after receiving a letter of approval from their parents.

Safety arrangements including sanitizer have been made in all the classrooms. The teachers said that for the first two days, training will be given to create awareness about the coronavirus and then classes will start. The students were overjoyed to come to school as the schools are open after a long break.
