Students against coming to school on motorcycles in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: The district education department has ordered headmasters of schools to not allow students to come to school on motorcycles. Several accidents are caused by school students driving vehicles without a license. Students who drive in a hurry, especially during school hours, are more likely to cause an accident. The District education department has asked the schools to create awareness amongst parents and to not allow students to bring two-wheelers.
They are advised to immediately contact the parents and hand them over the two-wheeler to them. Schools are advised to make parents aware of this and to not allow motorcycles to be parked inside the school. The district education administration has issued an order to the principals of all the schools in the district.
