PSGR Krishnammal Nursery and Primary School hosted the annual day celebration on a virtual platform
Coimbatore: PSGR Krishnammal Primary and Nursery School hosted the 2021 Annual Day Celebration recently with great zeal and enthusiasm on a virtual platform. The pandemic could not dampen the spirit of the students and school and the celebration was a gala affair. The celebrations were on the theme ‘Eco-Rise’.
The event was graced by G. Senthilkumar, Chairman & Director of HELIKX School, Salem as the chief guest. The annual day started with a prayer and welcome address. The School Principal presented the Annual Report for the academic year. She highlighted the various milestones and achievements of the school and students respectively.
Though last year, the pandemic changed the academic calendar topsy-turvy the school managed to fair well through the uncertain times. The school has been engaging students in practical science activities on waste management.
The school also felicitated conducive learning space at homes and helped children manage through the trying times. The school also conducted various activities which were open-ended and adaptable for students of 5 years and above. The school has been inculcating the habit of 5 R's like reduce, reuse, recycle, repurpose. They have been providing students with all requirements to be aligned with the hopes and aspirations of students to build towards improved outcomes for all concerned. The students have always been encouraged and taught to respect, protect
trees in their community.
The students from all the classes gave a stellar performance which mesmerized everyone. The meritorious students in curricular and cocurricular were also felicitated during the event. The virtual event was a grand success and everyone appreciated the school for its effort in ensuring that children do not miss out on special occasions due to the pandemic.
