CBSE +2 exams should not be cancelled, must be held after Covid-19 cases reduce: Students rights coalition in Pollachi

Coimbatore: A petition has been filed at the Pollachi Sub-Collector office on behalf of the Students Rights in Pollachi that the Government of Tamil Nadu should conduct a written examination without canceling the public examination for Plus 2 students.

The Central Government has announced the cancellation of the general examination for CBSE +2 students citing the Coronavirus infection. They said if there is concern for the welfare of the students, the examination should be conducted with safety measures as soon as the infection rates subside.

But with the cancellation of the public examination the future education of the students is in question. Therefore, a meeting is being held on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu in Chennai at present. The Government of Tamil Nadu should decide not to cancel the general election. They have demanded that as soon as the coronavirus infection subsides, exams must be conducted by setting up many examination centers and written examinations will be conducted with safety.
