Coimbatore: Bangalore's International Space Production Company signs MoU with Sri Ramakrishna College of Engineering to implement engineering process development through the Artificial Intelligence Movement.


Coimbatore: Sri Ramakrishna College of Engineering, Coimbatore has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Space Production Company in Bangalore to implement engineering process development through the Artificial Intelligence Movement.

The event was chaired by D Lakshmi Narayanaswamy, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust. Speaking after the signing of the MoU, Srinivasan Balasubramanian, CEO of Aerospace said, 'We will work with industry experts and academics to address future research activities and productivity improvements through artificial intelligence. When this initiative comes into use, it will support the engineering production process to make many achievements with world-class operations. With the solutions available through this, he ensured that productivity would be greatly improved by saving time in many ways by dealing with process development.'

Launched in 2010, the International Space Production Company, Bangalore produces about 130 pieces of space and equipment for the country's border security. The company is a joint venture between Rolls Royce and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in the UK.

Dr. N R Alamelu, Principal of the College, while referring to the MoU said, 'This is to engage college students with internships and gain access to employment and industry experience.'
