The first-year engineering students of Park College of Engineering and Technology in Coimbatore were felicitated and the Principal of Park College listed the achievements of the students from last year and their participation in state and national level competitions.
Coimbatore: The Park College of Engineering and Technology hosted an initiation reception for its first-year engineering students at the Kaniyur campus of the Park Group of Institutions, on Monday.
Kalaimamani poet Andal Priyadarshini was the chief guest at the function which was presided over by Dr. Ravi, Chairman, Park Group of Institutions. Karumathampatti Municipality President Nithya Manoharan, Kaniyur and Park College of Engineering and Technology and Prabhu Washing Machines owner Dhanraj were the guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Lakshmanan, Principal of Park College listed the achievements of the students from last year and their participation in state and national level competitions. Special Guest Andal Priyadarshini said that to be successful in their lives, students should consider their parents as heroes and heroines and remember their sacrifices to succeed in life.
Dr. Anusha Ravi, Chief Executive Officer of the college encouraged the students to fall at the feet of their parents to seek their blessings. Heads of all the Departments of the college, professors, first-year students and their parents were also present on the occasion.
