TNAU inks MoU with Guntur's Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University

The MoU was signed to facilitate students' training and postgraduate research.


Coimbatore: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur on Thursday for facilitating students’ training and post-graduate research.



Two delegates, Dr. A Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Vice-Chancellor and Dr. G Rama Rao, Registrar from Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur visited TNAU to complete the agreement signing process in person.

Er. G Vanitha, Assistant Professor, School of Postgraduate Studies, TNAU, Coimbatore welcomed the gathering. Dr. N Senthil, Dean (SPGS), TNAU, Coimbatore in his introductory talk remarked about the essentiality of this academic collaboration and the way forward. The signing authorities Dr. R Tamizh Vendan, Registrar, TNAU, Coimbatore and Dr. G Rama Rao, Registrar, ANGRAU, Guntur signed the agreement and exchanged the MoU in the presence of Dr. V Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU, Coimbatore and Dr. A Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, ANGRAU, Guntur where they emphasized on the strengthening of this collaboration for the benefits of students.

The University officials Dr. R Ravikesavan, Director (CPBG), Dr. M K Kalarani, Director (CMS), Dr. P Jeyakumar, Director (P&M), Dr. M Raveendran, Director of Research, Dr. V Balasubramani, Controller of Examinations and Dr. K N Ganesan, Professor & Head, Department of Forage Crops from TNAU attended the signing ceremony and graced the occasion.

The event ended with concluding remarks from Dr. N O Gopal, Professor, School of Postgraduate Studies, TNAU, Coimbatore.
