11th-grade public examination in Coimbatore commenced on Tuesday

Students' feedback on the language exam was optimistic.


Coimbatore: The 11th public examination in Tamil Nadu began on the 14th of March and will continue till the 5th of April. The first day of the examination began with the language paper. The 11th public examination was conducted in a total of 128 centres across the Coimbatore District.



The procedures of the examination were synonymous with that of the 12th board exams wherein notice of seat allotments and other instructions were provided to the students.



A total of 34,390 students enrolled for the examination including 15,630 boys and 18,760 girls from 362 schools in the district.



It was reported that about 33,960 of them appeared for the exam out of the enrolled total, 430 students were reported absent.

As many as 180 flying squads were set up to prevent malpractices and impersonation in the examination. In addition, 128 Principal Superintendents, 138 Departmental Officers, and 1,800 Room Superintendents were appointed to invigilate the examination.

Later, a few students in the 11th grade provided their review stating the question paper for their language paper was much more manageable and they made it with ease. A few also noted that they would score well unlike the rest of their revision examination.
