300 Teachers of Private and Govt School from 300 Schools within the limit of Coimbatore city who were change makers in their profession and influenced the students community with their excellence in teaching were also honored in this function.
Coimbatore: Drona Award and Teachers' Awards function was celebrated at Park Group of Institution at its campus in Kaniyur, Coimbatore. MNM Party Head Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan was present in the function as Chieft Guest.
Invoking the memories of Late Prema Ravi, the founder of Park Group of Institutions the function was organised and presided by Dr. P.V. Ravi, Chairman, Park Group of Institutions, Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO, Park Group of Institutions and T.R. Karthik, Secretary, Park Group of Institutions.
On the occassion of the Golden Jubilee celebration, The Moon Man of India, Dr. Mylsamy Annadurai and Sahithya Academy award winning book "Kaioppam" writer Puviarasu were honored with DRONA Award for the year 2023.
Alumni Department of Aeronautical Engineering of Park Park College of Engineering and Technology and presently working in the field of Space Research and part of Chandrayaan 3 team Hariharan and Ramesh Subramaniam were honored with "Renowed Alumni 2023" award.
Other Renowed Alumni to receive the Awards were Big Boss 6 Season fame SHIVIN GANESAN, Film Producer K VIJAY PANDI, Options Media Ltd MD SUJIT, Dance Jodi Dance title winner and National Yoga award winner YOGA VAISHNAVI.

Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan in his special address spoke that Tamilnadu students, studied in tamil medium are exploring the Moon and I feel proud to know that a few of such Scientist in ISRO are from this Group of Institution. Education is the Light house for the society. I had bit of political knowledge during my school days and that was because of my teachers.
But now a days teachers avoid to speak about Politics to the students and they neglect the information like, new education policy, entrance exam, education reservation etc. I do not suggests the students to leave education and join politics but to be aware of the polices of the Government.
In 2024 you are going to vote for Parliament election. You may voting for the first time but make sure you vote to the right candidate and right party who will be able to provide job opportunities and support industries and star ups. Students should posses political knowledge to decide whether the candidate in the election can lead the society. Before Politics impacts you, Make your impacts in Politics. The growth of the country is in your hands, so vote to the right candidates.
