Coimbatore: In view of the Vinayagar idol immersion which is scheduled to take place on September 6, the city police would effect traffic diversions in major city roads and where ever necessary to facilitate passage of the processions before the Visarjana ceremony.
Coimbatore: In view of the Vinayagar idol immersion which is scheduled to take place on September 6, the city police would effect traffic diversions in major city roads and where ever necessary to facilitate passage of the processions before the Visarjana ceremony.
The following processions would be routed through the city roads as per the police permission and necessary traffic diversions would be effected by the police when the procession passes through the said streets and roads.
While the Hindu Makkal Katchi procession will commence from Raja Street and go through RG Street, Sukrawarpet, Thiyagi Kumaran Street, Idayar Street, KG Street, Vysial Street, Sullivan Street, Gandhi Park, Thadagam road to reach Muthannakulam.
Agila Bhyaratha Anuman Sena (Sreedharan) procession will begin from Raja Street, KG Street, Vysial Street, Sullivan Street, Gandhi Park, Subramaniyam road, Venkatakrishna road to reach Muthannakulam.
The Bharat Sena's procession will begin by 12 pm from Sivananda colony, and traverse through 100 feet road, Sheela hospital, Shobika corner, Cross cut road, Vada Kovai over bridge, Chinthamani, Brooke Bond Road, Devangapettai road, Poo market, Sukrawar Pettai, Gandhi park, Thadagam road to reach Muthannakulam.
The Fourth procession, the Agila Bharatha Anuman Sena's procession will begin at 1 pm from Shastri ground through DB road, Mecricar road, Poo market, Sukrawar pettai, Thyagi Kumaran road, Idayar road, Karuppakoundar street, Vysial street, Sullivan street, Gandhi park, Subramaniyam road, Venkitakrishnan road to Muthannakulam.
The Fifth one, Vishva Hindu Parishad's procession will start 1 30 pm Vysial road - Sullivan road pulse godown and go through Chetty street, Sullivan street, Raja street, RG street, Sukrawar pettai, Gandhi park, Thadagam road to Muthannakulam.
The Sixth procession, Vivekanandar Peravai's procession will begin at 2 pm from Big Bazaar Street Makaliamman temple through big bazaar street, RG Street, Vysial Street, Sullivan Street, Gandhipark, Thadagam road to reach Muthannakulam.
The Seventh one , Siva Sena's procession will begin at 2 pm from RS puram Lighthouse street, DB road, Mecricar road, poo market, Sukrawarpet, TK street, Idayar street, Karuppakoundar street, Vysial street, Sullivan street Gandhi park, Subramaniyam road, Venkitakrishnanroad to Muthannakulam.
The Eighth one, Ganesha procession of the Hindu Munnani will begin at 4pm.
