Coimbatore : Low tension electricity consumers including residential and commercial establishment of the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) can now pay their Current Consumption (C.C) charges in advance through the online portal using Advance CC payment option.
Coimbatore : Low tension electricity consumers including residential and commercial establishment of the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) can now pay their Current Consumption (C.C) charges in advance through the online portal using Advance CC payment option.
In a press release issued by the TANGEDCO it is stated “consumers can avail this service and get benefited by avoiding disconnection of service connections due to non-payment of C.C charges in time”
“The consumers can get interest amount of the Advance C.C paid and it will be adjusted against their future C.C charges demand” it said.
“In case of non-availability of the occupier in their home for a long time, the advance C.C paid will be adjusted automatically against their future C.C charges demand.”
“TANGEDCO hence requested consumers to make use of the Advance Payment of C.C charges facility and get the benefit of avoidance of disconnection of supply for non-payment of electricity bill dues and also earn interest for their advance C.C paid” the communique stated.
