Coimbatore: The Department of Physical Education, Bharathiar University will host a walk-in recruitment rally by the Indian Air Force for airmen at its Indoor Stadium on October 17 and 21.
The criteria for eligible candidates are:
Date of Birth - For Graduates: Born between 19 July 1995 and 01 July 2000 (both days inclusive).
For Post Graduates: Born between 19 July 1992 and 01 July 2000 (both days inclusive).
Educational qualification required is BA with English as one of the subjects or B.Sc with Physics/Psychology/Chemistry/Mathematics/IT/Computer Science/Statistics as one of the subjects or BCA with minimum 50 percent marks and B.Ed degree with minimum 50 percent marks and MA in English/Psychology or M.Sc in Mathematics/Physics/Statistics/Computer Science/IT or MCA with minimum 50 percent marks and B.Ed degree certificate from a Government-recognized institute.
Candidates are required to bring all the original certificates such as Matriculation/10th, Intermediate/12th, Degree certificates of Graduation, Post Graduation and B.Ed Degree certificates. In case the original educational certificates are deposited in the college, the self-attested photostat copies will be accepted, provided a certificate from the school/college principal certifying that the original educational certificate (Mark Sheet/Pass Certificate) are deposited in the college should be produced.
October 17 has been reserved for testing candidates from the state of Tamil Nadu, UT of Puducherry, UT of Andaman & Nicobar Islands only, and on October 21, 2019 for candidates from the State of Kerala and UT of Lakshadweep Islands only.
It is to be noted that the permanent domicile of the State of Tamil Nadu/State of Kerala/UT of Puducherry/UT of Andaman & Nicobar Islands/UT of Lakshadweep Islands who have passed the qualifying examination from anywhere in India shall produce the domicile certificate before the commencement of examination from the appropriate authority. Married candidates are eligible if their age on the date of enrollment is above 22 years.
