TNAU organizes one-day training program on 'Bee Keeping' on Nov 6

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is all set to hold a one-day training program on "Bee Keeping" on November 6.

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is all set to hold a one-day training program on "Bee Keeping" on November 6.

The training will be held at the Department of Agrl-Entomology, here in which hands-on training will be imparted on various essential aspects of bee keeping. The experts will throw light on topics like identification of bee species, social organization of bees, rearing Indian bees in boxes, general and seasonal management, bee forage, a yield increase of crops through cross-pollination, honey extraction and processing, enemies and diseases of bees and their management.

Interested candidates can reach out to the Department of Agrl. Entomology, before 9.00 am of Novemeber 6 and pay Rs. 590/- as fee and enrol themselves in the training programme between 10 am to 5 pm.
