Thaipoosam: Special train announced between Coimbatore and Palani for 11 days

Coimbatore: Following requests from devotees, the Southern Railways has announced to operate a roundtrip unreserved special passenger train between Coimbatore to Palani for Thaipoosam festival.

Coimbatore: Following requests from devotees, the Southern Railways has announced to operate a roundtrip unreserved special passenger train between Coimbatore to Palani for Thaipoosam festival. 

To clear the extra rush of passengers during upcoming Thaipoosam festival at Arulmigu Dhandayathapani Temple in Palani, a special passenger will be operated between from February 2 -12 for 11 days. The train will consist of 8+2 coaches.

The special train is scheduled to leave the Coimbatore station at 9.45 AM and will reach Palani at 1.45 PM.

The special train will go through Podanur, Kinatthukadavu, Pollachi, Gomangalam, Udumalapet, Malvadi road, Madattukulam and Pushpatur stations before reaching Palani.
