Coimbatore: In view of preventive measures for Coronavirus, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has announced holiday for all schools from Pre KG to Class 5, across the State.
Coimbatore: In view of preventive measures for Coronavirus, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has announced holiday for all schools from Pre KG to Class 5, across the State.
In an officials press circular, the CM has reassured the people round-the-clock preventive measures are in place in the State to prevent spread of the novel Coronavirus. As children are more susceptible for infections, holiday has been declared for schools till March 31 for Pre KG to Class 5.
As a matter of precaution, the parents should ensure that children stay indoors and avoid playing in large gatherings.
Earlier, the TN State education department had announced holiday for Pre KG, LKG and UKG and for those districts that share close borders with Kerala and Karnataka, holiday was extended upto class 5.
