Coimbatore: "Critical measures on warfooting are being taken to keep the spread of Coronavirus under control. As of now, CMCH and ESI hospital, at Coimbatore are the centres identified for testing the patients and to treat the patients affected with COVID-19", informed the District Collector on Monday.

Addressing a press meet, he told that all facilities have been put in place at these hospitals. Each of the hospitals have been equipped with 100 beds and special wards, for this purpose.
"As over 6000 outpatients throng CMCH on a daily basis, and as COVID cases need better isolation facilities, it has been decided to use ESI Hospital as the exclusive centre for check ups and treatment of COVID-19", the Collector informed.
The public have therefore been advised, to visit the ESI hospital in Singanallur, directly, if they experience any COVID19 symptoms, lile cold, cough, throat pain, fever and shortness of breath.
