Everyone to be passed from classes 1 to 9 - CM

Coimbatore: As the outbreak of Coronavirus is cited as the reason for 34,000 12th std students not turning up for their board exams on Tuesday, the Chief Minister on Wednesday in an official press release to all district educational officers has informed that the exam will be conducted at a seperate date, later.


Coimbatore: As the outbreak of Coronavirus is cited as the reason for 34,000 12th std students not turning up for their board exams on Tuesday, the Chief Minister on Wednesday in an official press release to all district educational officers has informed that the exam will be conducted at a seperate date, later. 



He also informed that as the Sec 144 has been extended till April 15, it has become impossible to hold exams for Std 1 to 9. Hence, all students will be declared 'pass' and promoted to the next class. 

The CM in the release also noted that tea shops will not function from today, to avoid gathering of people.
