E-Pass from Kerala govt mandatory to travel from Coimbatore - Coimbatore City Police
Coimbatore: In an official statement, the Coimbatore City Police have briefed on why obtaining E-Pass from Kerala government is mandatory to travel from Coimbatore.Â
In the release the police have informed that several people willing to travel to Kerala from Coimbatore are left disappointed, as they are denied entry at Walayar check post. Citing E-Pass from the Kerala government, the people are denied entry by the Kerala Police.Â
Not knowing the procedures, on a daily basis many people line-up at the Walayar check post requesting entry into Kerala. Hence, those people who wish to travel to Kerala from here are requested to state their reasons and apply e-passes from the Kerala government.Â
Only those with such passes will be permitted to enter Kerala via Walayar check post, the release said.
