West Zone Assistant Commissioner Senthil appointed to investigate mishandling of tax money: Requests affected people to raise a complaint
Coimbatore: The tax money was mishandled in Coimbatore last few days causing a great stir in the city. Senthil, Assistant Commissioner, West Zone has been appointed as the investigating officer to look into the matter and he has requested the public to petition him about the culprit.
Yuvraj worked as a tax collector in the East zone of Coimbatore. He was accused of swindling Rs. 20 lakhs collected as taxes from the public without paying it to the treasury. He was fired along with a female officer who was given a job transfer. West Zone Assistant Commissioner Senthil has been appointed as the investigating officer to fully investigate the incident and submit a report. The affected people have been advised to lodge a complaint with the police against the culprit Yuvraj.
