E-registration system is still in force in Nilgiris district: District Collector Innocent Divya


Coimbatore: District Collector Innocent Divya said, E-registration system is still in force in Nilgiris district.

She told the reporters that, "Tourist places in and around Nilgiris Tourists from different districts and states keep coming to see this. In addition, awareness campaigns are being carried out by the district administration on the wearing of face masks by tourists. Fines are also being levied on those who do not wear masks."

She added saying, "The Government of Tamil Nadu has modified the existing e-pass system and introduced the e-registration system. Accordingly, the e-registration system for entry into our district from the other districts is still in place. Therefore, tourists ‌ and ‌people from outstations‌ should register and visit through e-registration."
