Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian today visited the 2.7 km stretch of model road in Race Course which is being built under the Smart City Project.
During his visit, Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian inspected the road laying workers, electricity connection works, rainwater drainage works, roadside development for platform shops, decorative street lights and many other ongoing development projects. He then asked the corporation officials to complete the remaining works quickly.
Post this inspection, Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian inspected the ongoing process of adding the details of people from Central and South Zones of Coimbatore who fall under the poverty line into computers.
District Engineer R Lakshmanan, Executive Engineer (Drinking water supply) Parvathy, Executive Engineer (Smart City) Saravanakumar, Deputy Zonal Commissioners Ravi and Mageshkanagaraj along with other corporation officials were present during the inspections by the District Corporation Commissioner.
