The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Coimbatore has announced for a total shut down at Kalapatti substation on 23rd August from 9 am to 2 pm.
The shutdown will be due to overhauling works and maintenance of power transformers and associated equipment in the following areas:

- Sitra
- Kaikolapalayam
- Valliam palayam
- Balaji Nagar
- K.R.Palayam
- Villankurichi
- Maheswari Nagar
- Thanneerpandal
- Lakshmi Nagar
- Murugan Nagar
- Peelamedu Industrial Estate
- Sharp Nagar
