Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has ordered the transfer of 49 IPS officers. Following this, Narendran Nair who was working as DIG in Coimbatore has been transferred and Muthusamy has been transferred from Dindigul to take charge as Coimbatore's new DIG.

Najmul Hota is the Salem Municipal Commissioner of Police, Vanitha is Tirupur Municipal Commissioner of Police, Radhika is Trichy Freight DIG, Vijayakumari is Dindigul Freight DIG, Sumit Charan is Railway IG and Santosh Kumar is IG for Chennai Northern Region.
