Coimbatore: It has been announced that the supply of drinking water in Kavundampalayam and Vadavalli areas will be stopped due to the construction work of the bridge by the Highways Department in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: It has been announced that the supply of drinking water in Kavundampalayam and Vadavalli areas will be stopped due to the construction work of the bridge by the Highways Department in Coimbatore.
Drinking water will be used under the North and the Corporation under the scheme as construction work has been carried out by the Highways Department since 14.07.2021 in the areas where 600 mm diameter clean water pipeline will be installed near Periyanaickenpalayam in the Kavundampalayam-Vadavalli Joint Drinking Water Project maintained by the Tamil Nadu Drinking Water Drainage Board. Works will be completed by 19.07.2021 and uniform drinking water supply will be made.
Raja Gopal Sunkara, Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer said public is requested to use the well water provided by the corporation as an alternative arrangement till tomorrow.
