Town planning officer transferred in Coimbatore

The government transferred Karuppathal who worked for the Executive Engineer Project in Madurai Corporation. When she took charge he was assigned the post of town planning officer. Sasipriya, who was in charge, was then assigned to Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Reconstruction Project JNNURM.


Coimbatore: Sasi Priya who was the Urban Planning Officer of Coimbatore Corporation was transferred to JNNURM division.

Sasipriya was appointed to the post of Executive Engineer during the last AIADMK regime. She focused more on signing files for building permits without focusing on tasks related to the creation and implementation of urban development plans.

It has come to light with evidence that town planning officer Sasipriya has given permit for a house on a corporation-owned reserve site in KK Pudur, Saibaba Colony, for her sister who was building a house.

The documents were inspected by Sharmila, the deputy commissioner of the corporation. In the meantime, the government transferred Karuppathal who worked for the Executive Engineer Project in Madurai Corporation.
