Power shutdown in areas of Coimbatore on Wednesday

The city electricity board has announced a power shutdown for certain areas on Wednesday due to the monthly maintenance work at the sub-stations.


Coimbatore: The city electricity board has announced a power shutdown for certain areas on Wednesday due to the monthly maintenance work at the sub-stations.

According to a press release by the Electricity Board at Ondipudur, Coimbatore, areas facing power outage include S. I.H. S. Colony, Netajipuram, JJ Nagar, Shakti Nagar, and Amman Nagar.

Monthly maintenance works will be carried out at MG Sub Station, Ondipudur Division, Coimbatore. Power will be shut down from 9 am to 4 pm, Executive Engineer Arul Selvi stated.
