Coimbatore: The Polio immunization drive will be held for children below 5 years of age and the camps will be held at primary health centres, government hospitals, etc., on Sunday.
Polio immunization camps will be held at 32 Urban Health Centres, 24 Sub Health Centres, 3 Government Hospitals, 6 Private Hospitals, 50 Government and Corporation Schools, 137 Anganwadis and halls, 10 Mobile Camps, 11 Transit Camps (Railway and Bus Stands), and 80 other places in 355 places on Sunday, February 27, 2022, in Coimbatore Corporation areas.
The drive will be conducted by corporation public health officers, staff, superintendents, volunteers, and NGOs. The Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Raja Gopal Sunkara, has thus passed on the information to the benefit of the public and urged them to immunize children below 5 years of age.
