Coimbatore: The Department of Employment and Training, under the Tamil Nadu National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme is conducting a district-level Enrollment Camp on June 13.
According to a press release issued by the district administration, the Enrollment Camp will be held from 9 am to 5 pm on June 13 at the premises of the Government Vocational Training Center. Central and State Government companies, Public Sector undertakings and Private Sector undertakings will participate in the camp to fill more than 500 vacancies.
Those selected at the camp will be given apprenticeship training and awarded the National Apprenticeship Certificate by the Central Government. The ones who receive this certification will be given preference and one year will be waived off from the age bracket for them. Moreover, those who receive certification in foreign job opportunities will be given additional preference. Scholarships for this apprenticeship will be provided by industries as per the industry categories and under the NCVT guidelines at Government and Private Vocational Training Centers.
